It needed as late as Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase over 300, regaining their record for the biggest in the women's 50-over format, is, honestly, a tribute to the pitchers that have represented Australia over five decades.

"An opportunity to take the field and face the challenge with her and simply enjoy myself in that aspect, kind of motivated me," said Healy.

She got to fifty in 35 balls - her swiftest at the World Cup - and her ton in 84 deliveries while she flogged anything short, striking 21 boundaries and three big hits.

Once she was removed Australia needed 66 more at one run per ball - a manageable total now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"To chase 330 is new territory so I am glad we have the assurance to accomplish that now," continued Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it again but, should it happen, we know we can do it."

These statements will be the ultimate thing rival teams at this World Cup should hear.

In recent days a feeling they will succeed regardless of circumstances has grown stronger - this victory coming after success over Pakistan by 107 runs despite being 76-7 at one point.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a meeting with traditional opponents England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a last-four spot may likely be confirmed.
