Devoted followers of the pop star are calling for that a individual who leaped a fence and seized the actress during yesterday's Wicked: For Good debut be arrested or deported from Singapore.

A circulating video shows the Australian man shoving aside camera operators and lunging at Grande while the cast walked down a promenade surrounded by onlookers.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo promptly guided the stunned actress away from Mr Wen, who was observed being escorted out of the gathering by guards.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "released after being detained", though official papers showed that he was due to attend court on the following morning. It is uncertain if he was faced legal action.

Record of Disruptions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Controversial Figure", has disrupted a performance. His Instagram profile contains clips of him disturbing other high-profile occasions, including breaching the performance area at Katy Perry's Sydney concert in recently and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers performance in the city last winter.

"There needs to be action enforced against him as this is evidently a criminal offence," commented an Instagram user, in a reply to a video Mr Wen posted of his actions.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" a different Instagram user remarked.

Supporters Voice Worry Over Grande's Well-being

Many supporters blamed Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had spoken of experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder after a devastating incident at the end of her 2017 performance in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and injuring many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" commented one more comment on Instagram.

Several attendees also faulted event staff at the Thursday event for not being adequately prepared; while different individuals called for digital services to remove Mr Wen's content.

Response and Premiere Information

In clips shared widely, Grande appeared startled when she was touched by the individual. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted comforting her while Mr Wen was removed by staff.

Grande has remained silent on the event, and the premiere activities proceeded as normal.

Hundreds of attendees had congregated in a sea of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific launch in a Singapore shopping center, including several who had stood in line for as long as eight hours before it started.

The motion picture, to be released on November 21, is the follow-up of a dual interpretation of the well-known theatrical show Wicked, which centers on the unexpected friendship between two very different sorceresses.

The production itself is a derivative of the classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the good witch Glinda, was adorned in a rosé sparkling outfit at the premiere while Erivo, who plays the wicked witch, wore a sleek black dress embroidered with roses.

They were accompanied by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the most successful motion picture of the previous year in the UK, and scored ten Oscar nominations, winning several for outstanding attire and artistic direction.
