Latest Processing Facility Attack Demonstrates 'Absolutely No Protected Areas in the Russian Deep Rear'
Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles have hit Russia's oil facility in Ufa, situated some 1,400 km from Ukraine, causing blasts and a fire, per a source in Ukraine's Security Service.

Ukrainian President Appeals to Trump to Facilitate Peace in Ukraine
Volodymyr Zelenskyy appealed to President Trump to facilitate a truce in the Ukrainian conflict over a phone call on the weekend.

In the Russian border region of Belgorod, a truck driver was fatally wounded by a Ukrainian strike, according to local officials.
Electricity Restoration Operations in the Capital
Operations continued on Saturday to recover electricity in the Ukrainian capital, after strikes by Moscow.
Power had been recovered to in excess of 800,000 inhabitants by Saturday and the largest private energy company stated the primary work to restore power was finished though certain disruptions persisted.
Air Defence Efforts and Drone Downings
Ukraine's air defences neutralized 54 of seventy-eight UAVs from Russia deployed targeting the country during the night, the military announced on Saturday.
Russia's defense officials claimed it intercepted 42 enemy Ukrainian drones over the country's airspace.
Cuba Refutes Claims of Deploying Troops to the War
Cuba on Saturday refuted US assertions it has deployed troops to participate in the Ukraine war, while declaring Cuban authorities "do not have precise information about citizens of Cuba" engaged "independently" or "as part of the armed units of both sides".
The ministry in Havana stated twenty-six Cubans had been convicted to prison terms from five up to fourteen years for participating as mercenaries since September 2023 when news circulated of Cuban nationals being sent to the frontlines in Ukraine.
Surrender Initiative Project Reports Information on Cuban Involvement
The program, a official Kyiv project that urges opposing fighters to give up, stated in May: "We have confirmed the names and personal details of 1,028 Cuban nationals who signed contracts with the Russian military in recently."
The Cuban foreign ministry stated of Cubans who might be engaged: "There is no doubt that no individual has the encouragement, allegiance, or approval of the government in Havana for their involvement."
Relatives of individuals who traveled to the Russian Federation in the year reported to international media at the time that their relatives had been deceptively recruited through advertisements on online platforms.
