The former personal attorney for Donald Trump has resigned as the US Attorney for New Jersey. This follows a legal ruling that invalidated her eligibility to serve.
Official Departure
The head of the Justice Department, the Attorney General, announced her stepping down on Monday. She commented that the judicial decision made it unworkable for Habba to effectively run her office.
"But do not mistake following the order as giving up," she declared. "The effort will now extend throughout the country."
